  • Digital Paintings
  • In producing my thesis film: The Door to Tomorrow I tested producing several photo-based backgrounds. Photographs were manipulated to various degrees, some more manipulated than others. In many cases a rough manipulation was enough since much of the details were covered by the painting layer.

    Once manipulated, I used Synthetik Studio Artist 4 to paint directly over the photo. The results come out oddly abstract and surreal while maintaing a degree of reality.
